Educational Policies Council Members

The chair of the Educational Policies Council (EPC) is the provost. "Ex officio" members, who have voting privileges, are the following:

• Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost
• Vice President for Research
• Vice Provost
• Executive Dean for Regional Campuses
• Dean of the College of Architecture and Environmental Design
• Dean of the College of the Arts
• Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences
• Dean of the College of Business Administration and Graduate School of Management
• Dean of the College of Communication and Information
• Dean of the College and Graduate School of Education, Health and Human Services
• Dean of the College of Nursing
• Dean of the College of Technology
• Dean of the Honors College
• Dean of Academic and Student Services for Regional Campuses
• Dean of Graduate Studies
• Dean of Undergraduate Studies
• Dean of University Libraries and Media Services

The chair-elect of Faculty Senate appoints five senators to the EPC, with regard for representation by curricular units of the university.

One elected member of each college curriculum body is elected by these bodies to membership.

The chair-elect of the Faculty Senate also appoints additional full-time tenure-track faculty to membership, with regard for representation by curricular units of the university as needed so that the faculty membership equals the "ex officio" membership.

One undergraduate student appointed by the Undergraduate Student Senate and one graduate student appointed by the Graduate Student Senate serve as observers with rights of participation, but without a vote.
