Bachelor of Science in Architecture

The Bachelor of Science in Architecture is directed toward establishing strong foundations in design, architectural technologies, architectural history and theory and the liberal arts.  The 124 credit hour four year, program is sequentially organized to advance the student s abilities and professional growth in each of these areas.  From the first term, the studio sequence focuses on the craft of the architect, both in the approach to design and in the making of the artifacts of communication.   The study of art and architectural history are emphasized in the first two years of the program to enhance the student s understanding of the traditions and contexts of architecture.

The Architecture program boasts a very high number of Honors College students among our ranks.

Please take time to review student work in our galleries.
