Four KSU Students Participate in 2010 Google Summer of Code
Posted May. 13, 2010Four KSU students -- Brian Bartman, Thomas Mulally, Justin Shreve, and Andrew Sutton -- will be participating in the 2010 "Google Summer of Code" program, designed to encourage college student participation in Open Source software development.
Brian Bartman is working with the Boost C++ Libraries creating data structures to simplify the development and use of bitmasks and compact containers. Thomas Mulally is working on a Wine project to implement a data structure for creating and parsing URI objects. Justin Shreve is developing an "ideas" theme for the popular WordPress program. Additionally, PhD Candidate Andrew Sutton is working with the Boost C++ Libraries as a mentor and in an administrative role. Congratulations to all of them for being accepted into this program!
