The Department of Geography celebrates as it approaches its centennial
The Department of Geography proudly turns 100 years old this Fall.

The Department of Geography announces its 2013 study abroad / away opportunities.
This year 3-credit hour classes are available for travel to Yucatan, Mexico (Spring Break), Los Angeles (April), Peru (May), Belgium and the Netherlands (May), and Poland and the Czech Republic (May). No pre-requisites required. Please see: http://www.kent.edu/CAS/Geography/studyaway/ for details.

Annual Geography Honors Awards Ceremony recognizes students.
On April 18th, Kent State Geographers came together to celebrate the discipline and recognize the highest achievers in the department. Several awards were handed out to undergraduates, graduates, and faculty.
