KSU Spring 2009 Science Symposium

Samsung Auditorium, "LCI" With support from Research & Graduate Studies and in cooperation with the College of Arts & Sciences and the Science Departments and Programs, the Center for Materials Informatics is hosting a science symposium on Wed, May 13 in the Samsung Auditorium at the Liquid Crystal Institute. This interdisciplinary symposium will focus on synthesis, processing, characterization and applications of materials. For example, nanoscale materials have the potential for wide ranging impacts in many research fields
and applications, such as:

  • Soft Matter,
  • Bio-nanotechnology/Nanomedicine,
  • Nanoelectronics.
The goal of the symposium is to promote and contribute to collaborative interdisciplinary research. The symposium will consist of 8 invited talks, with presentations from each of the participating science departments, programs, institutes, and centers. Additional opportunities for discussions will include a luncheon and breaks.
