The Tannery Integrated Marketing Communications

The Tannery is a student-run, full-service integrated marketing communications firm that is located in downtown Kent. The firm works with clients from all around the Northern Ohio region and plans to expand regionally and nationally.

The Tannery offer hands-on experience that prepares students for lifelong success. The firm is essentially a stepping stone from the college experience to a full-time career in the field. Student employees learn to meet and exceed the dynamic demands of clients and managers on a regular basis. They work on real campaigns for real clients.

The Tannery is managed by operations manager Evan Bailey. In addition, the firm is guided by two advisory boards: one comprised of Kent State University faculty; the other made up of local industry professionals.
