Schedule a Visit to a CCI School


Visit the College of Communication and Information at Kent State University to learn about schools, majors and activities you can participate in from day one as a CCI student. At Shadow Days, you'll hear about programs in each of the schools from faculty, attend a class, tour the school building, and find out about our living and learning community – CCI Commons.

Parking for all of the events will be in the Admissions, Schwartz Center Parking Lot. Space is limited, so please register early.

School of Visual Communication and Design (VCD) Shadow Days – Visual Communication Design and Photo Illustration majors

School of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) Shadow Days and Tours – Advertising, Electronic Media Management, Electronic Media Production, Electronic Media Sports Production, Journalism – Broadcast News, Journalism – Magazine, Journalism – Multimedia News, Public Relations, Information Design, and Photo Journalism majors

Tour Days:  Receive a ½ – 1 hour tour of Franklin Hall where you'll learn about the majors and see state-of-the-art facilities, including the video studio and control room, the converged newsroom and interactive learning classrooms and labs.

  • • At 1 p.m. on Mondays June 10, June 17, July 8 and July 15.
