MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs is to support the teaching and learning process and the development of the whole student by providing quality programs and services that enhance student learning and student success. The division also supports the institution through a focus on student recruitment and retention initiatives designed to enrich the university community and the lives of students, faculty, staff, families and the larger community. Strong commitments to operational efficiencies, user-friendly services, special student populations, technological advancements, partnership building, a quality residential experience and the development of the whole student are in evidence throughout the 15-unit division.

Admissions
Specializes in student recruitment; evaluation of undergraduate student applications; and campus tours.

Adult Student Center
Provides advising, counseling, orientation, workshops and other programs for undergraduate adult students with multiple life responsibilities including services for single parents and veterans.

Career Services Center
Offers career counseling and employment assistance, including resume writing, interviewing and job search skills; on-campus interviews; career fairs; student employment and internships; academic testing.  

Center for Student Involvement
Includes student organizations, fraternities and sororities, commuter student services, leadership training and recognition and student governance.

Dean of Students and Student Ombuds
Provides leadership support for students, parents, faculty, staff and surrounding community in the development of a co-curricular environment that enhances student success. Ombuds' services assist students in resolving concerns, complaints and grievances.

Dining Services
Comprehensive Dining Services across campus from snacks to full services dining.

Judicial Affairs
Handles adjudication of campus policy and law violations.

Kent Student Center
Gathering place for the university community--offering a variety of services to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests including
University Scheduling, University Conference Bureau, University Bookstore, Banquet Sales and the FLASHCard Office.

Recreational Services
Encompasses comprehensive recreational services including aquatics, fitness, informal recreation, sport clubs and an outdoor adventure center all housed in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center. The Kent State Ice Arena is home to two ice rink for recreational, hockey and figure skating.

Residence Services
Oversees on-campus living for undergraduate and graduate students and student families, residential security escort service, special program halls and conference housing.

Student Accessibility Services
Coordinates support services and assistive equipment for students with physical, psychological and learning disabilities.

Student Financial Aid
Oversees financial aid counseling and processing; needs analysis; assistance with scholarships, grants and loans; and veterans benefits.

Student Multicultural Center
Provides university-wide diversity programming for students, as well as transition/retention support programs, including Kupita/Transiciones, Academic STARS, the Karamu Ya Wahitimu, University Mentoring Program and the Soup and Substance Dialogue Series.

University Health Services
Administers health services for students. Comprehensive outpatient services include office visits, a women's clinic, immunizations, physical therapy, X-rays and more. The site also includes a 24-hour nurse helpline, the Office of Health Promotion and Psychological Services as well as an online drugstore.

Women's Resource Center
Supports needs for women students, faculty, and staff through a variety of programs, services and related resources to include walk-in crisis intervention/referral and education issues.
