| Device Helps Persons with Disabilities March 10, 2008 More than 14 million Americans under age 64 have a physical disability, according to the 2005 American Community Survey by the U.S. Census Bureau. For many, tasks such as turning on computers prove to be difficult. In this week’s video, Dr. Joseph Drew, Kent State associate professor of political science, and Kenneth McElravy, a manufacturing lab technician at the Kent State Trumbull Campus, discuss the device they developed that is providing a unique solution to the problem.
