The Institute for Bibliography and Editing supports collected editions of major figures -- including The Taft Papers, the Cambridge Edition of Joseph Conrad, and the Complete Works of Robert Browning -- as well as more limited editorial, textual, and bibliographical research on Beethoven, Hemingway, Bradstreet, medieval alliterative poetry, and Tudor historians and publishers. In this advanced research in the humanities, it applies high-end computer systems to the entire research process, employing sophisticated computerized data entry and text processing, text comparison, and editing. The institute's faculty fellows represent several campuses, colleges and disciplines: English, History, Library Administration and Music.
