Kent State has more than 1000 international students from approximately 100 countries around the world. In addition, internships, special programming, student organizations and the friendships you make on campus will help you create a community in which you will thrive.
Study Abroad
Whether your future plans include graduate school, working in the international arena, or working in the U.S., a carefully planned study abroad experience will help you become more independent and self-confident. Studying abroad not only alters your life for a short time, but also provides lifelong benefits. English as a Second Language
Kent State offers a unique and individualized ESL program offering well designed courses tailored to the students’ linguistic and professional needs. The ESL Center offers a variety of courses at various proficiency levels. All classes are taught by teachers who are specially trained in the communicative method.
