International Applicants

Step 1
Welcome to step one of Kent State University’s online application process. Now that you have selected International Admissions, reference the descriptions below to determine which international admissions application you will be required to complete. From there, follow a link that will advance you to step 3 of this online application process and help you finish the online application itself.
  • Graduate
    An international student who has completed the education level in your country which is the equivalent to an American bachelor’s degree. Generally, this is usually the four-year diploma or certificate that you receive after completing your secondary schooling. Upon receipt of you academic records, Kent State University will perform an evaluation to determine your eligibility.

  • Undergraduate
    An international student who has completed the education level in your country which is the equivalent to an American high school diploma. Generally, this is usually the first 12 years of formal education which culminates in the awarding of a secondary school diploma or certificate. Upon receipt of your academic records, Kent State University will perform an evaluation to determine your eligibility.

  • English as a Second Language
    A student who is planning to study in our English as a Second Language program for the purposes of improving their English ability.
