Required Application Components

College Preparatory Form
The College Preparatory Form must be completed by a high school guidance counselor and mailed to the admissions office along with the student's official high school transcript.

Official High School Transcript
For a student to be considered for admission, you must send their official (signed and sealed) high school transcript. Faxed transcripts will not be accepted as official.

Important Deadlines

Application Deadline
Kent State University reviews applications on a rolling admission basis.

Special Program Deadlines
Both the Architecture and B.S./M.D. accelerated medical programs have specific application deadlines. See all Special Program Deadlines online.

Scholarship Deadlines
To be considered for Kent State scholarships, applicants for freshman admissions must have all application materials submitted to Kent State University admissions office by January 15.
