Housing
At Kent State University seventy percent of our student body are residential and are part of the Kent community. This provides the student with a classic college environment. Kent State offers 34 residence halls from family housing to individual rooms. The wide variety of living choices will provide you with an on-campus residence that will suit your needs.

Kent State’s PARTA is the second largest of its kind in the world. Bus service is available not just on campus, but to local shopping malls and the cities of Akron and Cleveland.

Kent State University is one of Ohio’s safest campuses. Department of Public Safety patrols the campus and residence halls 24 hours a day.
