Kent State University is a public research university that serves more than 5,000 graduate students enrolled in more than 150 graduate degree and certificate programs in the College of Architecture & Environmental Design, College of the Arts, College of Arts & Sciences, College of Business Administration, College of Communication & Information, College of Education, Health and Human Services, College of Nursing, College of Public Health, and College of Technology.

Partnerships between students and our nationally and internationally renowned faculty extend scholarship in important areas of research, creativity, and practice. Student-faculty partnerships conduct both basic and applied research on vexing world problems ranging from pollution to poverty; mental illness to illiteracy; new sources of energy to peaceful solutions to violent conflicts.
