Architecture & Environmental Design

The College of Architecture and Environmental Design provides opportunities for personal growth through design exploration integrated with the practical aspects associated with design practice. At Kent State we have found that this approach results in a "full spectrum education" leading to the responsible development of a capable professional designer.

Whether the degree program is in architecture, interior design or urban design, the eventual outcome is a professional who understands how the built environment can improve the quality of life for all citizens, while preserving the limited resources of this planet. The College of Architecture and Environmental Design aims to equip the students with the social, theoretical and technical knowledge that will serve them well in the future.
