General Admission Requirements

Kent State recommends students apply with the following minimum test scores and cumulative high school GPA:
ACT: 22 composite score
SAT: 980 (Combined critical reading and quantitative sections only)
GPA: 2.5 cumulative on a 4.0 scale

Honors College Admission Requirements

Kent State's Honors College applicants should possess the following characteristics:
Be in the top 15% of their high school class
ACT: 26 or higher composite
SAT: 1170 (Combined critical reading and quantitative)
GPA: Minimum of 3.5 cumulative on a 4.0 scale
