Work Partnership Fund
In 2002, the Work Partnership Fund was established to give international students a work experience within a department. This program allows the student to work within an area of interest for 10 hours a week while continuing their studies. If you have further interest in this program contact Ted McKown.

Graduate

Sources of financial assistance providing partial support for international graduate students include both service and non-service appointments. Students wishing to apply for any of these should contact either the chair or the graduate coordinator of their major department. The application for a graduate appointment is included as part of your application packet for admission to Kent State.

Financial Documentation

All international applicants to Kent State University must be able to document that they have the financial resources needed to support their educational and living expenses for at least one full year. Your financial support is usually verified by two documents:
1. A completed Financial Information Worksheet (provided with the application for admission).
2. A bank statement or a bank letter from the appropriate financial institution signed by an official. (Such a statement may also be in the form of an affidavit.)
