An international undergraduate student is an individual who holds a non-immigrant visa to the United States and is applying for study at an institution of higher education. Before applying to Kent State, you must have earned an educational credential equivalent to an American high school diploma.
Transfer — Apply as a transfer student if you have attended a college or university after secondary school graduation. The requirement for admission is a cumulative collegiate grade point average of at least 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
Post-Undergraduate — Apply as a post-undergraduate if you have already earned a baccalaureate degree and want to take additional undergraduate courses. The requirement for admission is the successful completion of a bachelor’s degree.

Attention Applicants from China: There is a website available, www.alpps.org, which allows you to create a student profile in order to differentiate yourself and provides our university with more information. We do not endorse or require applicants to use this system, but it can provide us with additional information to evaluate you along with your official application. Your student profile can be created and submitted at any time of the year for review.
