The campus! Especially during fall, with the amount of trees and open, green spaces, campus is inviting to a variety of activities—whether it’s walking to class, doing homework outside, or playing ultimate Frisbee.

I love the outdoors! Camping, sports, horseback riding and hiking—you name it.

Advice for Prospective Students

With more than 4,000 colleges and universities in the United States alone, the college search process can be overwhelming. Don’t worry, once you know what you are looking for, it's easy to start narrowing down your search. When looking at different college and universities, make sure it fits more than one of your needs. This can range from academics all the way down to what type of student activities are offered. My best advice is don’t cross a college off your list because it looks intimidating. Look into it! Schedule a visit, ask questions, take pictures, meet with a professor and come visit again if you need to. Make sure that you make an informed decision about college; it should be one of the best experiences of your life!
