Annual Fund
The Kent State University Annual Fund raises awareness of the university's vast achievements and encourages a culture of philanthropy throughout the university community.
Through the Annual Fund, individual alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends of the university are encouraged to demonstrate their commitment to the university's mission through annual financial support. Creating an environment conducive to philanthropy is essential for Kent State to achieve excellence in the classroom and beyond.
The university community is celebrating its centennial anniversary and all of the people who made it possible. The plan to build the foundation for Kent State's next 100 years is already in motion! The Centennial Campaign is an ambitious initiative to raise $250 million for our endowment, capital projects and current operating funds, with an emphasis on the dire need for more student scholarships. Our vision for the future includes:
- technology and facilities that provide the latest education tools;
- real-world and international programs, such as research, internships and study-abroad;
- and increased opportunities for first-time and underrepresented scholars through merit- and need-based scholarships.
