BASEBALL TOMORROW FUND
Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Player Assn. offer grants through their Baseball Tomorrow Fund to nonprofits to implement and maintain youth baseball and softball programs. Grants must aim to do the following: increase the number of youths participating in the sport; improve the quality of programs; create new or innovative ways of expanding and improving programs; generate matching funds; and provide programs for children ages 10-16. The grants should also support successful programs and provide opportunities for girls and women.
UNITED STATES GOLF ASSOCIATION
Since 1997, the USGA has provided in excess of $60 million in grants to more than 900 non-profit organizations that serve youth through golf. These grants support organizations that introduce the game of golf to people who otherwise would not have the opportunity -- specifically kids from economically disadvantaged backgrounds (Junior Golf Program Grants).
