Kent State University believes and adheres to providing quality service to students. By establishing advising relationships, students and advisors can improve the quality of dialog as the student progresses from first year, to final year. Every student at Kent State University has an assigned academic advisor that remains with the student throughout their education. The only time an advisor changes is if the student’s program changes or campus.
Beginning in Summer 2012, all new students are required to meet with an advisor every semester. By meeting with an advisor, students are more likely to stay on track with their academic goals, and graduate in a timely manner.
