Commandant of Cadets

Recruits, trains, motivates, and counsels highly qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. Instructs a sophomore-level course on Leadership Studies, integrating both written and verbal communication skills into classroom learning. Provides leadership training, military discipline, and educational and career guidance to Air Force ROTC cadets. As commandant of cadets (COC), is the direct liaison between the unit commander and the cadet corps. Directs leadership laboratory, military training, and field training (FT) preparation activities. Acts as the U. S. Air Force's public liaison for local community issues.
