MSG Brandon Knicley

Instructor

MSG Brandon R. Knicely graduated Braxton County High School in Braxton County, West Virginia in 1997. He then joined the Army in 1998 and attended Infantry OSUT at Fort Benning Georgia.  He is an 11Z Infantryman and has held nearly every position within his Military Occupational Field. He has attended every level of NCOES to his current grade. He has been stationed at Camp Casey Korea, Fort Irwin California, Vilseck Germany, Fort Leonard Wood Missouri, and Fort Carson Colorado. MSG Knicely has been deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II, OIF 08-10 and Operation Enduring Freedom 11-12. He has been deployed for over 36 months in support of the Global War on Terrorism and seven months in Kosovo.

Military education he has attended includes; Senior Leaders Course, Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle System Master Gunner, Army Combative’s Level I, Drill Sergeant School, Advance Leaders Course, Warrior Leaders Course, Combat Lifesavers Course, Defense Hazmat and Technical Transportation of Hazardous Material. Civilian education includes over 55 credits hours of college.

His awards include the Bronze Star Medal with Valorous Device, Bronze Star Medal(3), Meritorious Service Medal (2), Army Accommodation Medals (3), Army Achievement Medals (2), United Nations Service Medal (2), Good Conduct Medal (4), National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with three campaign stars, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with two campaign stars, Oversea Ribbon (4), NCOPD Ribbon (3), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Ribbon, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge and the Drill Sergeant Identification Badge
