Kent State University's School of Art presents Wendy Weiss on Friday, April 1 at noon as part of the Michener Visiting Artist Lecture Series. Professor Weiss is in the Department of Textiles, Clothing and Design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is also Director of the Robert Hillestad Textiles Gallery. She will be lecturing about her textile art, including her collaborative sound installations and her recent Fulbright trip to India where she researched weft ikat weaving.

The lecture is being supported by the School of Art Michener Fund and the Textile Art Foundation. The museum is located in Rockwell Hall at 515 Hilltop Drive on the corner of E. Main and S. Lincoln Streets.
