Description

The Associate of Science degree is a generalist program that serves many purposes. The degree serves students who want a broad education by sampling a variety of different subject areas, or who are planning to complete a bachelor's degree program, or who want to advance their careers by holding a degree. Because of the general nature of the program, students may specializing in a particular field of study that will meet their specific educational needs.

Admission Requirements

The university affirmatively strives to provide educational opportunities and access to students with varied backgrounds, those with special talents and adult students who graduated from high school three or more years ago.

Kent State campuses at Ashtabula, East Liverpool, Geauga, Salem, Stark, Trumbull and Tuscarawas, and the Twinsburg Academic Center, have open enrollment admission for students who hold a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
