International Collaboration

 In 2006, KSU and the University of Costa Rica entered into a formal agreement in order to strengthen cultural ties and provide opportunities to expand the horizons of participating students, faculty and professional staff.  This agreement includes collaborative academic programs, short-term exchange programs for both faculty and students, joint research activities, and semester-long graduate scholarships for KSU students doing tropical research and for UCR students to participate in Kent State’s graduate program.
