Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Biological Sciences has a degree program for you

With our Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology and our Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in Biology, Botany, Environmental and Conservation Biology, Medical Technology, and Zoology, we offer a variety of exciting courses and opportunities, including study abroad and undergraduate research opportunities. 

Additional Undergraduate Programs include concentrations in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Organismal Biology, and preparatory pre-professional programs (human medicine, osteopathic, dentistry and veterinary medicine). 

New for Fall 2024 we will have an Animal Ecology concentration in our B.A. program which is specifically designed for  students interested animals and their environments. This new offering will be in the 2024-2025 catalog, which is viewable on June 1st.

We also contribute to cross-disciplinary programs such as the B.S. in Biotechnology and the B.S. in Neuroscience. Our Columbiana Campus also offers a Horticulture Technology degree.
