From the Director

Our program is distinctive for its multi-institutional approach to graduate training. Graduate students benefit from the expertise, experience and facilities of faculty located at our Partner institutions.  Our outstanding faculty and staff number more than 150 and are nationally known for their research and teaching capabilities. Because of the training opportunities we provide, our graduates are in high demand for research and teaching positions throughout the United States.

We offer graduate degrees in five focused programmatic areas: Biological Anthropology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, Pharmacology, and Physiology. All students participate in an integrated curriculum designed to impart an in-depth understanding of the major discipline. Each program offers a core of coursework to provide a firm grounding in the discipline and additional interests of the student and advisor. The diverse interests of the Faculty and the combined resources of the consortial universities affords students the opportunity for first-rate training in a modern research setting

We welcome your interest and are seek highly motivated students with interests in research careers in the biomedical sciences. This site contains all the information needed to apply to our program.
