The MBA degree is open to individuals from all educational backgrounds. Students with a recent business undergraduate degree from an AACSB International Accredited program may be able to shorten their program. Some MBA Core courses may be waived from the student's program based on coursework taken previously.
These courses are designed to provide discussion and thought regarding general management issues, such as ethical decision-making, legal and regulatory issues, cultural diversity, leadership, team building, and strategy formulation and implementation..
One of the electives must be an international business area course. Beyond this requirement, students have the option of earning the MBA with or without an area of concentration. A concentration requires all 9 credit hours of electives to be taken within the same area of study, whereas the general MBA allows students to choose any courses across areas.
