Habitat for Humanity of Portage County

Recently the KSU Graduate Chapter of Net Impact volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Portage County.  The group worked on site at the Haunted House located in the University Plaza on the corner
of Water St. and Cherry St.  Net Impact teamed up with Kent State's Habitat for Humanity student group and worked together to deconstruct the set ups that were built for last year's Halloween.  The materials from the deconstruction include electrical wiring, doors, plywood, siding and 2 x 4's; these materials will all be reused in homes that Habitat will build in the future.  Great work team!

Build your resume and feel great doing it

The Kent State University Net Impact chapter actively partners with local nonprofit organizations to engage in short-term consulting projects.  These projects offer Net Impact members a chance to build their resume and expand their professional network, while building the capacity of local organizations.

On this page you will find project documents, a place to post future service project ideas, and helpful links to Net Impact Central resources.
