Eileen Bridges
Dr. Eileen Bridges is a Professor of Marketing at Kent State University. She
received her Ph.D. in Marketing from the Kellogg School at Northwestern
University, and was an Assistant Professor at Rice University prior to moving to Kent State in 1994. In addition, she spent a semester as a Visiting Fellow at the University of New South Wales in 2003. She has recently been named the Editor-Elect of the Service Industries Journal, a highly ranked cross-disciplinary journal with an international academic and practitioner audience. Making good use of her services expertise, she recently gave the keynote address for Kent State University's Communications & Marketing annual meeting (2007), entitled "We are All Service Providers."
Dr. Bridges' background includes undergraduate work and a master's degree in electrical engineering, and her current research interests include innovation, dynamic technology, and e-services marketing. She has over 20 years of experience teaching at the undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral levels, and occasionally teaches executive seminars in marketing management and service marketing. Her current topics of research include rapidly changing markets, customer response to marketing activities, and the impact of expectations.
