Before coming to Kent State University at Stark, Dr. Berardi taught at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He completed a PhD in operations management with a minor in statistics after earning an MBA in operations and logistics management. Before returning to school, he worked several years in the paper industry as a process and quality assurance engineer. He also has work experience in transportation, distribution, and logistics. Dr. Berardi’s primary focus is on teaching undergraduate business students at the Stark Campus, including modifying and improving his teaching through research-based studies. In addition, he is interested in forecasting and classification using neural network and copula-based approaches.
