David Booth


Professor

David Booth received his PhD degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has research interests relating to the application of statistical methods to operations management, general management, and statistical process control, and cancer research. He is currently Professor of Statistics in the M&IS Dept at Kent State University. The techniques he is most interested in are robust statistical methods, neural network applications, time series analysis, and multivariate analysis. His work has appeared in Decision Sciences, Technometrics, Journal of Quality Technology, Journal of Manufacturing Systems, Journal of Management, and other similar journals. He has been very active in the American Statistical Association, Decision Sciences Institute, the American Production and Inventory Control Society, and the American Institute of Chemists, of which he is a Fellow. His primary teaching areas are in statistics and operations management.
