Event Powerpoint

Purpose: News of infectious disease is capturing the public’s attention, highlighting the necessity for better systems to manage contagions in both care facilities and laboratories. The current focus on personal protective equipment (PPE) is only one component of a complex set of systems needed to effectively manage the spread of contagions. This seminar, open to only healthcare and design professionals, will explore how design can impact infection control with a focus on strategies, systems and equipment that can be implemented in any hospital to handle both a growing concern and increasing prevalence of infectious contagions.
