Scholarships are awarded based upon high school grade point average and standardized test scores (ACT or SAT). Scholarship recipients can retain their scholarships for four years (eight semesters) as long as they complete the required number of honors courses each year and maintain a 3.25 cumulative grade point average. Students who wish to be considered for honors membership and scholarship should submit a Kent State University admissions application.

College students, including transfer students, who are interested in joining Honors and applying for an Honors scholarship should visit the Honors website to find the college student application.

Student Financial Aid Student Financial Aid provides the Financial Aid Resource Center, a tool to help students calculate the costs of attendance, find scholarships using KSU Scholarship Search and links to non-KSU scholarships, and view and track awards and loans.
