Industry Advisory Board

The objective of the Industry Advisory Board is to help the College of Technology (CoT) achieve its mission by

 Guiding  *  Connecting  *  Mentoring

To enhance technological literacy, education and training essential to the knowledge economy, socio-economic well-being, and to the workforce development of the State of Ohio in general and Northeast Ohio in particular.

The College of Technology takes great pride in the dedication and hard work of our Industrial Advisory Board. This group of industry leaders provide many services. They assist our College and each of its curricular groups in validating programs and courses. They provide guidance for the College's future direction and reflections of its past. The IAB is a vital component in the College's accreditation processes. In addition, many of the members represent companies that currently employ our graduates and interns. As industrial leaders the IAB also provides partnerships and mentoring programs for students and faculty. We are grateful for their voluntary service and demonstrated support for the College of Technology.

During the past few years, the Industry Advisory Board has provided significant value to the College of Technology and KSU. We have supported the CoT in gaining accreditation, achieving status as a College, establishing Program Review Committees, and provided invaluable support for many new programs and collaborations. Both President Lefton and Provost Frank stated that the CoT IAB is the most valuable such Board they have seen on this, or any other campus.
