BS Applied Engineering - Manufacturing Systems
The Bachelor of Science degree Applied Engineering major Manufacturing Systems concentration is a management oriented technical curriculum built upon a balanced program of studies drawn from a variety of disciplines related to manufacturing systems technology. Included are a strong knowledge and understanding of materials and production processes and proficiency in design and computer aided manufacturing. These technical skills are combined with principles of management and a strong proficiency in physical sciences and mathematics along with a broad based liberal education.
Study Objective:
The objective of the BS Applied Engineering - Manufacturing Systems concentration is to prepare students for professional careers in product design, facility planning, technical sales, and quality assurance.
