Meet the Accountants Night

This event is held from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m., in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. This open house is for Accounting (Bachelors and Masters) and MBA students to network with organizations seeking to hire for accounting positions.

Sept. 19 (Thurs.)

Resume Bundles Emailed to Main Organization Contact

Resumes may also be viewed online by logging into your Experience Job & Internship Board account. Employers have approximately four days to review resumes and choose/pre-select candidates.

Sept. 23 (Noon, Mon.)

Deadline to Choose and Submit Names for Pre-Select Invites, Alternates, or Declines

You must make a selection for each candidate. Selections can be submitted online in Experience or emailed to cscjobs@kent.edu.

Please note: Pre-selecting candidates does not guarantee that they will sign up to interview with your organization. Therefore, we encourage you to submit more candidate names than available time slots on your schedules(s). Students sign up on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you choose to only use pre-selection to fill your schedules(s), any remaining time slots will be left vacant.

Sept. 25 (Wed.) - Two days prior to your interview date

Candidates Sign Up for Interviews

Two days prior to your scheduled interview day, your schedule will be locked down and no unauthorized changes will occur. You will receive a confirmation email from the Career Services Center containing a copy of your schedule as well as resumes for interviewees.

Sept. 30 - Oct. 4 (Mon. - Fri.)

Accounting Internship Interviews

All first-round interviews are conducted in Career Services, 261 Schwartz Center, between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  

Candidates must adhere to the Interview Cancellation and No Show Policy.

Sept. 30 - Oct. 15 (Mon. - Tues.)

No-Offer Period: Second Interviews and Employer Site Visits Conducted

Offers should not be made to students before they have had the opportunity to interview with other firms and therefore offers to prospective interns should not be made in advance of the designated offer date of October 16th.
