A Discussion with Debora Flora
Executive Director of the Mohoning County Land Bank
Ms. Flora will share her insights and experiences as the first executive director of the Mahoning County Land Bank, a non-profit corporation founded in February 2011. The Land Bank is responsible for acquiring and clearing debts from vacant, abandoned, and tax-delinquent properties.

In conjunction with The Center for Public Administration and Public Policy, The City and Community Studies Initiative has hosted events that bring together faculty members, students, and residents to discuss important issues concerning cities and communities. The events are usually held at an off-campus location to encourage attendance from individuals that are not necessarily associated with the university, but are interested in the issues facing our communities.
