Kent State Geography Centennial Events

We were so happy to have current students, faculty, and alumni join us for our spring events! 

Fall 2013 events include our homecoming celebration in October, and a centennial speakers series featuring past alum.

Our Spring Centennial events also included David Olson Happy Hour at Ray's Place, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the hire of Kent State's first Geographer on April 5, 1913, and a celebration in Los Angeles at the Annual Meeting of the Association of American Geographers.

Our Centennial gathering at Ray's Place attracted grad students, faculty, and alumni.
