I received a B.A. in Geography from Wittenberg University in the Spring of 2012. While at Wittenberg, I took a wide range of Geography classes, from physical geography classes such as Weather and Climate to classes such as Human Ecology and the Geography of China. This broad background in Geography gave me a love and appreciation for the discipline. While at Kent State I have come to be interested in the Geography of Education. Geography has a substantial impact on the number of school options and the quality of schools that are available to children. My thesis will compare the assigned traditional public school and charter school of charter students.
