German Film Series

Posted Jan. 23, 2013 The Departments of History, Political Science, and MCLS present a GERMAN FILM SERIES. Please join us on Wednesday nights at 7pm, in Bowman 220 for a showing of some of the best offerings in German film today.

January 30th: The Counterfeiters

A gripping war-time of a Jewish forger forced to work for the Nazis

February 13th: The Lives of Others

A brilliant depiction of a Stasi operative protecting an East German dissident he is supposed to be spying on. 

February 27th: Run Lola Run

A masterpiece of action film-making and technique set in today's Germany
