Recent publications:  1) The Book of Howth: Elizabethan Conquest and the Old English (Cork University Press, 2011); 2) "Representations of Sir Henry Sidney: Authority and the Rhetoric of Virtue" Sidney Journal 29 (2011):  27-44.   

Current publishing project:  co-editing a collection of essays, Elizabeth I and Ireland (under consideration by Cambridge University Press)    

Current research project:  disorder and the Old English colonial community in Elizabethan Ireland
