Pauline Clark is the secretary for The Department of Pan-African Studies. She has been in this position since November 13, 2006. She has enjoyed being a part of such an integral part of the Kent State Campus. Pauline brings a diverse secretarial background to the department. She has worked for such companies as Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Emmanuel Christian Academy, Ida B. Wells Community Academy, Babcox and Wilcox, Goodyear Aerospace, Monsanto, G. Stephens, Inc., and Akron City Hospital just to name a few. She has been in the secretarial arena for over 20 years.
Pauline is a single parent of five adult children and a 14 year old daughter (Tristyn) who will be attending Theodore Roosevelt High School in the fall. She is the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren. Her spare time is filled with attending her youngest daughter’s soccer and softball games. Hobbies include fishing, bowling, traveling, and reading. Pauline and her daughters, Tristyn and Nechelle, volunteer during tax season as preparers and secretarial assistants for Akron Summit Community Action (ASCA).
