To recognize research accomplishments and facilitate activity, the College of Arts and Sciences' website has expanded to include a section dedicated to A&S Research.  These pages currently provide information on research news, incentives, and support resources as well as undergraduate research participation.  

The A&S Research landing page posts research news feeds from departmental sites as well as items originating from the College.  When adding research-related news items to your department's page, select 'research' from the topic taxonomy to ensure that the news also appears on the A&S page. 

Research Incentives lists four new programs designed to encourage research proposal development, and ultimately increased research expenditures, within the College of Arts & Sciences. Faculty members are invited to submit applications between February 20 and 5 p.m. March 2, 2012.

Research support resources currently include sample searches of COS™ funding opportunities by discipline. COS™ offers information resources and services for researchers across all disciplines and lists thousands of records representing billions of dollars in funding. Searches can be tailored to individual interests and the system can be set to provide weekly notifications of new opportunities.

The site also provides basic information about undergraduate research such as benefits, ways to participate, how to get started, and funding opportunities.  Students are encouraged to check with departments for more detailed information
