College Level Examination Program (CLEP) Download to print
Students may earn academic credit through the College Board College Level Examination Program (CLEP) administered at Kent State by the Career Services Center. CLEP allows a student to earn college credit for prior knowledge and move on to more advanced coursework sooner. Credit, but no letter grade, is granted for scores meeting the minimum required score of 50, equivalent to a “C” grade. For additional CLEP information, including available tests, Kent State course equivalents and test dates, visit the Career Services Center website. See the Credit Testing Eligibility policy in this Catalog for more regulations on awarding credit through testing.
