CCI Video Gallery

One of the great benefits for our students is they can participate in student media as a freshman. What's our program like? Well, just click through these videos. It was an assignment in Professor Karl Idsvoog's Editing with Avid class. Each video will give you a unique look at the program. If you're wondering why there isn't any moving video, well, that was part of the assignment. Students could only use still images and then had to use their editing skills to bring those images to life.

I'm from Northern Ireland. When I graduate I hope to work in film production in Europe when I'm finished as a writer or producer.

I enjoy sports production and corporate video work. I hope to either work from a production house or professional sports production. I like Kent State's JMC program because it has given me hands on experience since my first day here.

I hope to edit television series on PBS; Nova is ideal, but I would not reject Antiques Roadshow.

I'm a citizen of New Zealand, and I have produced and directed three short films. I am currently working on a feature film which will take two years to produce with the ultimate goal of ending up screening at Sundance. I enjoy Kent because of the access to a wide variety of tools that I need to build a successful portfolio.

I am currently on the hunt for an internship, preferably working on music videos, movies or interesting commercial campaigns. I love Kent State because of the eclectic groups of people on the campus and the wonderful JMC major.

I enjoy making movies, writing scripts, making things up and working in my imagination more than reality. After I graduate, I would like to edit and write for a production company that either does independent movies or corporate projects.
