Fall 2017 Art Enrichment for Youth
By combining art studio activities with discussions of art as it relates to different time periods and cultures, students come to better understand the world of art. Students are organized by cross-age groupings and work with a variety of media to develop their individual art skills.
When does a place become more than a name?
How can we change spaces to change our future and remember stories of our past?
What objects tell us about who we are?
For eight weeks in the fall of 2017, children between ages 4-14 will become art investigators to uncover their relationships with places, spaces, and objects in Monday Art Enrichment. They will share their meaningful discoveries and creative findings with the community in a Final Art Show on December 4.
